Bye 2020? Hello 2021!

This time last year many of us were enthused by the dawn of a new year.

Going short and shallow, many of us were looking forward to the new year eve parties. Most among us were consumed with thoughts of what we were going to wear, our makeup and our manicures. We were stepping out of our homes visiting malls and shops for last minute supplies like magnetic lashes or pantyhose.

Those among us prone to go long and deep, were busy making lists of new year resolutions. Some of us wanted to move jobs, travel more, see the world. Some of us had career goals that involved being smarter, sharper and more involved in the office, so we were noticed and accelerated along the corporate ladder. Some of us who owned businesses wanted to expand horizons in the new year, reaching more clients, opening more venues or simply exploring more for profitable outcomes.

Ha! How naive were we all?!

Then 2020 happened.

A year of unknowns and unpredictables for all of us.

A year of heartache, loneliness and loss for most of us.

A year of confusion, conspiracy, and ever widening conflict between pandemic and plandemic.

A year of battling over masks and toilet paper.

A year of fake news, fake elections and fake votes.
