FaithVs Belief

It is insurmountably better to have faith than belief.

Because….

Belief is conditional whereas Faith is unconditional.

Belief is reliant on things you know (God exists because the wind blows or the flowers grow or because it says so in the scripture) whereas Faith is reliant on how you feel (a deep sense of peace and unconditional love)

Belief makes you question, faith makes you want to submit unquestionably.

Belief is merely a strung in the ladder that you climb towards faith.

In religiosity or spirituality, belief is the start of a journey that hopefully one day will lead you to faith.

Both belief and faith, have a place and a part to play in your life.

In practice, you can have faith, fervour and conviction in your ideas or purpose without any specific beliefs but the reverse does not hold. Beliefs devoid of any form of faith, ultimately frizzle out or get replaced.

We have examples of present and past societies of humans to prove that.

On this earth, over the centuries humans have built societies and social constructs on grandiose ideals and strong beliefs of justice, fraternity, blah blah blah (you get the picture). Where faith was missing or lacking, the same societies over time…
